If you like to fish or just enjoy nature it is a .4 mile walk to the river. We are located 2.5 miles west of Fort Laramie Natl. Park. In proximity to several historic sites, museums and recreational lakes. Just a day trip to visit Mt. Rushmore & Crazy Horse. This is a remote location and 4wheel drive may be necessary during extreme weather conditions.

We have a quant little cabin/house here for you to enjoy some peace and quiet. It sits under some old cottonwood trees that offer just the right amount of shade to help keep you cool and comfortable. Fall is in the air. Not only are the sunrises and sunsets amazing, but weather is also very comfortable. So whether you are an earlier riser or an evening person you will enjoy. You will be within 5 miles to two boat ramps, lots of bicycle and walking trails and sits right on the outskirts of the State Park and minutes away from Esterbrook & Medicine Bow. The only thing left to build is the eve/roof on the front porch but you will not be disappointed renting this house.

The cozy cottage is 2 blocks from downtown Douglas where you will find restaurants, bars, a movie theater, boutique shopping and at certain times of the year outdoor festivities.
