Welcome to our beautiful retreat in the heart of Rural Sussex. This lovely self contained and fully equipped annexe is part of an 18th century barn conversion. Tucked away at the end of a private lane in the hamlet of Small Dole with uninterrupted views across the South Downs National Park, it's a perfect base for exploring the area. We're 30 minutes from Gatwick (parking and transport can be arranged) and Brighton, historic Arundel and glorious Goodwood are all within easy driving distance.

Jellybean- cutest mini houseboat retreat ever!

'Jellybean' is a lovingly restored 1974 TINY houseboat nestled on the mudflats of an RSPB bird reserve on the West Sussex coast. She is one of the smallest narrowboats in the world- 15ft long and 5ft10” high (PLEASE NOTE THE SIZE ). She has all you need to switch off and relax!. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away, and Shoreham by Sea, Worthing and Brighton are all easily accessible. Jellybean is a safe space for solo guests or couples to escape. The Stables at The Forge is right on the South Downs Way, in Pyecombe village, in the South Downs National Park, 15 minutes from the vibrant city of Brighton. It is a self-contained cosy one bedroom apartment with a super king bed or two singles, a double sofa bed in the lounge / dining area, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, storage, wood burner and secure off street parking. Sleeps up to four guests - perfect for walkers, cyclists, Pangdean guests, vineyards, Hickstead and city visitors.

Ecopod plus day summerhouse and street parking

Our unique Ecopod was handcrafted in Wales, it is beautifully insulated with sheep wool and has a lovely smell of wood. The large double glazing doors allow you to make the most of sunlight, you are in the sunniest spot of the garden! The village has everything you need, four independent coffee shops, one bakery and two supermarkets. Further down you have the beautiful Hurstpierpoint, Ditchiling and Lewes, if you fancy more action, Brighton is 10 minutes away. FULLY HEATED for colder days.

The bottom of the downs a five minute drive and a handful of pubs all within a 5mile radius. Plumpton station a 2 minute drive you can be in London within the hour.

DOGS are only allowed if booked in, at a charge of £15 per stay.

There is instant access to beautiful countryside footpaths and bridleways. We are walking distance from a pub with a garden and good home-cooked food. Just an hour from London by train and 10 minutes drive from buzzy, cosmopolitan Brighton, we're also close to lots of pretty villages, lovely beaches, beautiful historic houses and gardens.

Beautiful barn on the South Downs Way

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

In the heart of Mid-Sussex, our former dairy farm dates back to the early 1800's. The barn has been recently restored to provide 1000 sq ft of luxurious accommodation with wonderful views across the wheat fields to the west. Guests can enjoy countless walking and cycling trails from the front door. Brighton, historic Lewes, Glyndebourne, Hickstead and the South Downs are all a stones throw away. Gatwick is less than 30 mins by car and London a further 45 by train.
