The log burner makes the sitting room warm and inviting. The cottage also has a nice dining room and well equipped kitchen with an AGA and an extra oven. The bedrooms are cosy and welcoming. Nestled within the rolling hills of Herefordshire and surrounded on all four sides by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is the perfect place to enjoy the English rural idyll, with plenty of railway history thrown in! The accommodation is situated on the site of the original station building which was operational from 1861 - 1965, and has been rebuilt in the style of a typical Great Western Railway building of the Victorian/Edwardian era. Dog friendly, but we stipulate a two dog maximum.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons
