The Ashdale Bee is the perfect place to relax and explore the local area of Battlesbridge, a picturesque village in the Crouch Valley. Visit the famous antiques centre, walk or paddle along the river or enjoy some food and drink in one of the many country pubs. Jump on the train and travel along the Crouch Valley line to vineyards, more river walks or the quiet, unspoiled, riverside town of Burnham on Crouch. Alternatively, travel in the opposite direction and London awaits within 40mins.

Guests have their own front door, and there is a private deck looking out over neighbouring farmland . The studio has a private shower room, fresh towels and sheets are provided. The Hutch is in Leigh-on-Sea, close to parks, Southend Airport (3.9miles), shops (0.5miles for Leigh-on-Sea & 3.9miles for Southend High Street), the Estuary (1.5miles), Cliffs Pavilion (2.3miles) and the hospital (1.5miles). You’ll love my place because of the location, it's privacy as it's a self-contained lodge with its own access, and courtyard as well as off street parking My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Farmers cottage

Our eco friendly cottage sits at the front of our family run farm. We have adopted a green approach to living with photovoltaic electric and ground source heat pump underfloor heating. This self contained one bedroom bungalow has its own front door entrance and is a huge comfortable space to relax, rest and recuperate for a short break away or after work. It is available to book for one day or more and we offer a discount for monthly bookings.
