The Ghaur Hartola is a three bedroom stone cottag located 10 kms from Nathuakhan market,Mukteshwar. With an altitude of 7300 ft offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the valley. Vidyun's hill home in Dhamas, overlooks the snow clad Himalayan peaks of Trishul and Nanda Devi, with pine forest walks, bird watching and occasional sightings of leopard, pine martins, jackals in the forest behind the house. The house has 2 (two) "ensuite" bedrooms with private bathrooms. We do not give out the two bedrooms separately. Each bedroom is equipped to accommodate up to 3 guests. Even if a single guest books the entire cottage is kept free so u have EXCLUSIVE use.

Naval officers abode in the Himalayas aptly named . After spending years in the beauty of coastal land and lapping in the sea and with it its infinite beauty ,a naval couple decided to build something in the Himalayas - their first love. It had to be serene, peaceful , with a garden, high but not too much, cool but not cold, homely and warm, in wilderness but connected, green but not a jungle. They searched and searched & finally found a place and built their dream cottage.

Meals can be ordered from eatery located at entrance at an extra cost.

The last 7 years have been an incredible learning experience. Since we moved to the village, the priorities have changed. There was a sense of discovery in everything we did. There were chai-filled conversations with elders and young turks and stories on how homes and communities were built. It's these learnings that led us to build these earth homes. Kumaon has been a great teacher. And we hope we've done justice to her sustainable ways.

My house is 20 kms ahead of the the Dhangari gate of Corbett National Park, Uttrakhand, on the Betalghat road, above the village Kyari. Our bungalow has a panoramic view of the forest surrounding it and allows you to experience the wild. You’ll love my place because of its location, contemporary design, native architecture and the solitude it offers. A must visit for bird watchers, naturalists and wildlife enthusiasts.
