Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

The Hummingbird Nest is a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath vacation rental in Amish Country on a quiet side street, just 6 minutes from Shady Maple Smorgasbord and 10 minutes from the Amish tourist town of Intercourse. There are no steps inside or outside the home, allowing for easy access to all rooms. The huge, south-facing windows allow plenty of sunlight year-round. Corn hole has been added for your enjoyment! Soak up the modern and vintage charm of the Innkeepers Quarters at Witmer Estate! The 2nd floor bedroom & bath have just been renovated to add a luxurious tile shower and soaking tub, King bedroom w Smart TV creating a beautiful 2nd floor suite. Hot tub open all year. The Innkeepers Quarters is attached to the main house but is a completely private unit. This Amish owned family friendly home is centrally located in the village of Intercourse, Lancaster County. The home is a 5 -10 minute walk (no sidewalk, along a narrow shoulder of the road) or a 1 minute drive from the shops of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse. It's also a 10 min. drive from the town of Bird in Hand, and a 15 min. drive to the Sight & Sound Theater. The home is very near Amish farms with a great view out back.
