The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Come enjoy your stay in our 1900 sq ft 19thcentury restored stone barn. We’re 15 minutes from Sight and Sound and the shops at Strasburg. With lots of trails and the Susquehanna River close by, your family can spend many hours hiking in southern Lancaster County. Experience the local Britain Hill Vineyard,coffee,and ice cream shops nearby. The charming city of Lancaster with its many authentic restaurants is only a 20 minute drive. This comfortable 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is centrally located with Amish attractions, Sight and Sound, Strasburg Railroad, Outlet Shopping all within a ten minute drive. Approx 25 min drive to downtown Lancaster. Located in a condominium, the apartment offers a shared gym and hot tub. The neighbors are quiet & respectful. The apartment offers a King Bed, Full Bath w bathrobes, SmartTVs (log into your accounts), WIFI, and fully equipped kitchen. The lighted patio has a grill and seating area.

Equipped with a grill this is perfect for a relaxing vacation, but should you choose to go out you're located just outside of the popular town of Intercourse so you'll be close to all the local attractions while staying in the country. The loft is in a newly renovated barn, located on our small farm in Gap PA. The location is approximately 15 min from Lancaster County’s main attractions. (please see below for more details on location) We have the cutest pony named Snickers who is accompanied by his two bunny friends. He loves when guests stop by to say hi!😊
