There is access to horse tails near by and walking distance from the cozy gem of a town. The lake is directly in front of the cabin and has public access right down the road. Enjoy the elegance of a timelessly beautiful era while staying in this National Register of Historic Places home. Also, the former hospital. This spacious 3rd level attic suite contains two large rooms (a bedroom and living space). Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

Marshall Castle House

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located "castle house." It is located within walking distance to downtown (YMCA, library, theater, schools, parks, & churches) and is less then 2 miles from the high school and hockey arena. This home will be all yours when you book! There are three beds, two bathrooms and two different living room areas with TVs to unwind after a long day of sports or work. This house is located near the Hillcrest Aquatic Center so you will be pretty well centrally located. The property has a large patio with a charcoal and gas grill available for guest use and two different kitchen areas.
