Ready for a tiny adventure? The tiny house is unique and beautiful, constructed by a local craftsman with regionally sourced wood. The tiny house has a small loft (39" peak) with funky ladder-like stairs, full kitchen & bathroom. The loft has a full bed and couch converts to twin bed. Channel view and quiet neighborhood, less than 4 miles to downtown Juneau, overlooking Douglas Harbor and Gastineau Channel. 13 miles Eaglecrest Ski Area. 1 block Perseverance Theater, 2 blocks Treadwell Ice Rink

Waterfront Wonder

Right on the water! Offstreet parking with 50 steps down to the front door. Sit on the deck above the water and watch spectacular sunsets over the Chilkat Mtn Range. The space will accommodate two couples or a family of six. Wonderful covered deck with grill and outdoor dining. Totally possible to see humpback whales, orca, seals, sea lions, waterfowl, river otters, harbor porpoises, kingfishers, eagles and bear while sitting on the deck or looking out the window. Family friendly & work space.

Our Point of View

Escape to a place with breathtaking glacier and mountain views that is only 20 min from downtown but feels worlds away. This cozy 1 BR 1 Bath apartment attached to the back of our home, includes a queen bed as well as a queen pull out sofa bed. It resides in a quiet neighborhood 5 min from the glacier & is the gateway to outdoor exploring with incredible views right off the deck and many other trails close by. Come see Our Point of View while having a private and solitary space all to yourself.

River House: On Mendenhall River/Glacier(4 min dr)

We love our place on the Mendenhall River! Eagles, bears, deer, porcupine, and otters are common sights in the backyard while the soft rush of the glacier-fed stream provides a soothing background. We are located in the upper Mendenhall Valley, just a 5 minute drive from the Mendenhall Glacier & 3 minute walk to the Brotherhood Bridge trail which takes you into deep old forest almost immediately. The river is ever changing and always beautiful & peaceful. We are available, but don’t intrude.

Eagle’s Nest

Relax in this 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a full laundry. Enjoy riverfront sunsets from the open-air covered deck, 25 feet above the ground. The bedroom has black out window shades for a peaceful rest and there’s a sleeper sofa to accommodate up to 4 total guests. Take a stroll to the Mendenhall Wetlands trail, 300 yards from the doorstep, along a 3 mile trail maintained all year. The apartment is one of two on the top level, so you’ll need to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the door.

Waterfront Villa - The Humble Halibut 3050

Relax with the whole family at our Alaskan Beachfront villa. It has the best views in all of Juneau! 20 min drive to Eagle Crest Ski resort! Minutes from the harbor! Go fishing & head home with a freezer full of Halibut and Salmon! Deep freezer in the Unit! Holds a couple hundred lbs of fish or game. Fully stocked Kitchen Propane grill Coffee Bar Privacy curtains / blackout Smart TV Extra Blankets This unit is waterfront and has stairs. Not ideal for guests with mobility challenges.

AKNS Ocean View Room

The AKNS Ocean View Room is a 400 square foot studio. It includes a queen bed, a kitchenette with a small refrigerator & microwave, and a small table with 2 chairs. Wireless internet is included along with a smart HD streaming TV (no subscriptions). The bathroom has a tiled shower, towels & a hairdryer. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and our gardens. Its own entrance is down a short boardwalk from your off-street parking with easy access to the beach and our beach-front gazebo.

Luxury granite and other stone finishes throughout this spacious one-bedroom place, make it a sweet Oasis. A piece of art ready to be showcased to Alaska visitors! Owner, Johney Engle uses his artistic talent to create amazing kitchens for homeowners. He opened, what is still, the only stone fabrication shop from Surrey British Columbia to Anchorage Alaska, in 1985. He built his home and shop here with pride, branding it with custom rock and other 3-dimensional art pieces throughout.

Experience this spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home with a stunning mountain lined channel view. Just across the street you will find a walking path that leads to a park for the little ones! Your getaway is centrally located between the Mendenhall Glacier and downtown shopping. You can sleep 8 comfortably, enjoy 2 living spaces and even study in the office. Be careful not to leave out your picnic basket as you may encounter one of our local neighbors but if you do give them their space!

Tongass Treehouse - Orcaview Cabin

The Tongass Treehouse sits about a hundred feet up in the lush rainforest canopy. Start your day with coffee while listening to eagles & whale watching from bed, the reading nook, living room or deck, then enjoy Juneau's best offerings - like remote glacier hikes or local shopping - all less than 15 minutes away, then return to luxurious comforts to relax at home & watch the sunset as flying squirrels & eagles play next to the deck. The Otter Den is a separate studio unit below.

This waterfront chalet has breathtaking views, majestic mountains, the Northern Lights, Cruise Ships and the Gastineau Chanel. Enjoying this home is easy from the big picturesque windows, wrap around deck, claw foot bath tub, walk in shower, huge master bedroom, viewing loft and rustic but modern interior. This home has a special featured display case enclosed is Alaskan hand made pieces and descriptions along with Alaskan books on the shelf in the viewing loft to enjoy.
