Red Cedar Hideaway

Red Cedar Hideaway boasts a light filled airy open plan living space made from Australian timbers. The house is a pleasant 5 minute amble to Crescent Head Point, Main Beach, Killick Creek, shops and Country Club in the village of Crescent Head. It is a 3 minute walk to Backbeach via a bush path found at the bottom of our garden. We provide a breakfast basket with cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit, as well as jam and butter. To welcome our guests we leave a bottle of wine and brie and crackers.

Creekside Farmstay

Bird Song is on fertile farm land on Kinchela Creek, only a few kilometres from Hat Head and South West Rocks on the Mid North Coast. It is only 10 minutes from Pacific Highway and an ideal stop over point or relaxing weekend. Our farm house has panoramic views across the country side and creek. The guest house with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom is adjacent to our house on an elevated deck which surrounds the swimming pool. Our farm has cows, horses, dogs, free range ducks, chickens & turkeys.

We’re about 20 minutes from the nearest supermarket at Nambucca Heads, so it’s advisable to bring supplies.

Our private studio apartment is situated underneath the main house with private access through the gardens. Valla Beach is quiet and the beaches unspoilt. My husband and I live upstairs with our miniature schnauzers George and Hector who also share the garden. This is an ideal weekend retreat or beach holiday as we are an 8 minute walk to the cafes, beaches and tavern . There are several walking tracks through the forest close by and a short drive to Jacks Ridge mountain bike trail.
