The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

This Ndoro Carriage is so romantic! It has that fabulous feeling of being cozy yet spacious... A true delight with a cabin bedroom, where you can watch the wildlife stroll across the field. The kitchenette has all the facilities you’re likely to need, with bistro table. Theres a snuggly sofa to enjoy the view, curl up and read a book. Outside, there's a private patio where you can sip your wine and watch the sun go down. Do come and enjoy our Natural Pool, it’s an amazing experience!

Cosy & Spacious Shepherd's Hut with Stunning Views

Our shepherd's hut is thickly insulated to stay cool all summer, with a fridge to keep your beers cold. Outside, a generous deck and seating area is made for bright mornings and long evenings. Gather round the fire bowl as the sun goes down to watch the stars emerge over truly dark skies. Solar-powered lighting and mains sockets, double and single bed, a fully equipped kitchen, hot water washing up just outside the door — all a ten minute stroll away from The George, an award-winning pub.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

A luxurious dome nestled in private woodland and flower garden. An ideal romantic/ family stay near the Cotswolds. Enjoy the wildlife view from your king size bed, woodburning stove, additional heating and air conditioning. Relax on the private decking area, outdoor dining with a barbeque and firepit for toasting marshmallows amongst the trees. The mattresses can be brought down from the loft area for younger children. Private, luxurious and cosy shepherd hut

"Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

Hello! We're Em and James! We live on the Chavenage Estate which is home to four generations of James’s family. We wanted to share our space, and our love of the outdoors with you here in the beautiful South Cotswolds.
