Peaceful retreat down gravel driveway 15 min from Mayo Clinic. Enjoy your own apartment with private backyard walkout entrance to the lower level of our home. You will have a bedroom, living area, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven (no conventional stove/oven), bathroom w/ tub & shower, pingpong table, laundry, and patio with fire ring. You may hear piano music weekday afternoons, since I give lessons (usually 3-6 pm; a bit earlier in summer) NEW HEATED FLOORS w/thermostat

Our beautiful suite of private rooms will accommodate up to 4 people. You can expect a very private, peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. A place that you can call 'Home' while being away from yours. During this time, with the Coronavirus and the need for social distancing, Lisa & I would like to assure you that the Suite is completely yours and there is no shared space within the home. Carleton’s campus is a short walk and St. Olaf College a short drive away. You will climb a flight of stairs to this 2nd floor space to see great sunsets and views of the river. With so much going on downtown, you’ll still find this a cozy and quiet space to write, draw, create or just relax.

The Tiny House at Trout Lily Farm

Trout Lily Farm is a beautiful, peaceful six acre hobby farm. The Tiny has its own semi-private area by apple trees and a scenic barn, with its own patio table/chairs, barbecue, and firepit. This 168 square foot one-level Tiny is suitable for 1-2 guests (one queen bed). Running purified water, electrical/propane stainless appliances, full tub/shower, composting toilet, internet. Fully furnished, with dishes, coffee maker and electric kettle, linens and toiletries.
