Craigieburn garden bothy is a glamping-type single room bothy in a lovely 6-acre garden in beautiful Moffatdale, a great location for walkers and cyclists. The garden has woodlands, waterfalls, wildlife and exceptional planting for you to roam in. The bothy has no mains water or electricity so is a real alternative experience, with separate flush toilet and washing facilities. Otherwise all home comforts are provided with double bed, kitchenette and wood-burning stove to create a cosy atmosphere

It has a fully equipped kitchen/living room and dining area, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. The Folly also has an enclosed, dog safe, private garden, new decked seating and BBQ area. A hot tub is available for £25 per day. We have a lovely, homely bar/restaurant on site which serves drinks and evening meals over the weekend. Also open for meals in the week on request.

When you’re ready for a kip, there’s a comfortable double bed for two inside the hut. Complete with a woodburning stove. Firepit/ barbecue and gas hob provided in the outdoor kitchen.
