Welcome to our home: where we have found peace and relaxation for over 20 years. A German native, Big R fell in love with the open land and rolling hills of Wisconsin, becoming a US citizen in the 80s. He met Curly, a Chicago city girl, who brought a little city to his country life. They enjoy raising buffalo and spending warmer days on their porch enjoying the fresh air and beautiful views (with no mosquitos!). Now they want to share their idyllic and peaceful home with you. Drive down a dead-end road and pull up to a rustic cabin filled with high-tech and cozy amenities. We have something for everyone with a gas fireplace, tv (complete with dish, Cinemax, HBO and a Bluetooth sound system), board games and a full kitchen. Take a drink outside to soak in the hot tub or sit around the campfire. When the day is done, you will fall asleep instantly on the memory foam bed, either in the loft or the bedroom, and wake up to a beautiful sunrise looking out over your little getaway.

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. Trout fishing is an excellent pastime for those who care to cast a line. Rest, at Nature’s Nest.

Are you looking for a cozy, and quiet get-away spot to rest & relax? Our little Tree house Cabin is the perfect spot! Located between Prairie Du Chien, WI and Ferryville, WI- this little A-frame cabin gets you within 5 min. from the river, but allows you to be tucked in a quiet wooded area. It is 900 sq. ft of pure relaxation & nature! Enjoy your morning coffee in the outdoor room or relax nightly by the fire pit. Disconnect 2 Reconnect. Go on a long walk or bike ride, then return to the cottage to cook, play board games, listen the record collection or visit Viroqua (25 minutes) for a farm-to-table 5-star dinner, or check out local music. Build a warm fire outdoors/ warm up by the gas stove indoors, or go down to the stream for a sauna by the cool water creek.

Feel free to explore the woods taking a hike on the network of trails. Nearby you can visit winery's, Wildcat Mountain State Park, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and more. Squirrel Ridge Log Cabin

A cozy cabin nestled in the country side of southwest Wisconsin. This cabin is located on the corner of our 28 acre organic maple syrup farm. The Amish built log cabin is in a wooded area with its own driveway offering privacy for a perfect getaway! Comfortably sleeps 4 adults, which includes a queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 single beds in a loft area, & a queen size pullout sleeper in the main room. Centrally located in the Ocooch Area of WI for excellent trout fishing.

Overlooking a small pond and Mill Creek in the valley below, The Water Villa offers guests beautiful views of the countryside. Near the entrance of Mill Creek Cabins, The Water Villa is shielded by a large privacy fence. A sliding door opens up to reveal a pathway to the two-story cabin. The main floor features a king bed, balcony, small seating area, and fireplace. Reclaimed barn wood walls and large windows create a warm interior highlighting the outdoors.

Tanager is an impeccable, private cabin surrounded by woods and hiking trails, a short drive from Viroqua. Tanager, named for the Scarlet Tanager spotted on the 75-acre Driftless Creek property, has a modern style, and is full of comforts and charms for you.
