The accommodation comprises of one King bed downstairs, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and second mezzanine with one single bed, both accessed by ladder. Cottage is Off Grid, lights and fridge are solar powered,. Cooker, hot water, heating and shower are powered by gas.

The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Surrounded by various wildlife & farm animals. The Gleneagle INEC is a quick 3km trip away along with many hotels on the muckross road. Other nearby sight seeing locations include torc waterfall, muckross abbey, ladies view & Ross castle. Horse & cart tours can be arranged with notice.

Ideally located only 2 km from Killarney town, adjoining The Killarney National Park, with genuine easy 24 hour direct access to it and it's walking and bike trails. Enjoy an early morning lakeside walk or run in the most scenic part of the Park. The cottage overlooks the lakes, situated on 30 acres of private grounds. A shop, pubs and restaurants only 5 minute walk. The INEC is also only a few minutes walk away along the promenade, less than I km.
