Beautiful seaside 4 bedroom bungalow with a stunning shore side location and sublime views over the sea to the Isle of Skye. 'Beau Vallon' offers its guests a unique and comfortable base to explore the delights of the west coast of Scotland. Sleeping a maximum of 6 people this holiday home is a detached dwelling nestled in the wonderful highland village of Glenelg. With a well equipped modern kitchen and a large bay view window in the lounge you can entertain and relax soaking up the vista.

Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Featured in The Guardian Travel's '10 of the Best Wilderness Holidays in Scotland', get back-to-basics in this beautiful old croft house bothy, hidden on a mountainside between the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle, close to the Isle of Skye. With no running water or cooking facilities, this stay is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, and fall asleep to the sound of the waterfall.

Spacious cabin with lovely views across the water to the hills Located in a quiet area. Close to all amenities,only 7 miles from the bridge Private space with parking. Breakfast supplies include,eggs,cheese,cereal,fruit,juice,bread,butter,marmalade,tea,locally roasted coffee,milk and oatcakes Please note,google maps is incorrect for the last 100 metres. At bottom of junction turn left (not right as directed) Then first right 30m after Ardcana sign Parking 15 metres down drive on left

The Cabin With a View

A spacious cabin which is within walking distance to all local amenities (swimming pool, shops, restaurants & bars). It is approximately 10 mins walk to the nearest bus depot & local train station. Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

Bothan dubh (Black Bothy) We are situated in Badicaul which is a 5 minute drive from the Skye bridge and a 10 minute drive in the other direction to the beautiful village of Plockton. Relax and unwind in our peaceful, self contained studio with en-suite bathroom. Enjoy amazing views from the studio looking over the sea to Skye. Centrally located for exploring with Plockton 5 miles away, Kyle of Lochalsh 1.5 miles ,Skye bridge 2 miles away & Eilean Donan Castle 10 miles away.

One of the best located holiday cottages with a sea view, we are nestled by the beach, overlooking Glenelg Bay, where guests will enjoy stunning Highland vistas "over the sea to Skye" and beyond to the South West, towards the sound of Sleat and the islands of Rhum and Eigg.

A delightful place to stay and newly finished in May 2019 'The Wee House' can be found right next door to our own (slightly bigger) house, 'Heisgeir'. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Being born and brought up in the area we hope our local knowledge will allow you make the most of your trip.

Waterfront Cottage on the Applecross Peninsula

Tigh A'Mhuillin (The Mill House) is a lovely detached home close to picturesque coastal villages (5 miles from Shieldaig and 17 miles from Applecross), with shops and pubs. Fabulous hill walking and climbing in the Torridon mountains, mountain biking on tracks and quiet roads, fishing, and sea trips to explore this beautiful part of the Highlands. For the less energetic, just sit, relax and watch the ever-changing scenery.

Isle of Skye Cottage

The charming village of Kyleakin, situated on the Isle of Skye, offers a picturesque and peaceful retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the heart of Kyleakin's historic district, the Isle of Skye cottage is truly a gem. This fisherman's cottage, built in the early 20th century, is filled with original stone work and wooden features, giving it a cozy and authentic feel.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.

Bruaich Mhor self-catering cottage

A comfortable, modern, well-equipped cottage with mountain and sea views. With good access to the island and near local shops and restaurants, Bruaich Mhor is an ideal base for exploring the wonderful Isle of Skye. The cottage sleeps a maximum of two people. The cottage is not suitable for children and we don't allow pets. Short-term let licence HI-30832-F

Bac na beàrn is a traditional old Highland home, stone built, slate roofed, with double glazing, good insulation and full central heating. It’s warm, comfortable, unfussy and relaxed. It's a great base to experience the seas, mountains & wildlife of this unique and outstandingly beautiful part of Scotland, including the Isle of Skye.
