You'll be treated to a delightful array of bird songs, and with a bit of luck you might even see a bald eagle. Take in the beautiful sunsets and unwind in this peaceful lakeside haven!

Clay Woodland is a bed & breakfast in Manistee National Forest in the village of Baldwin, Mi. It has a secluded woodland cottage on the property. A light continental breakfast is provided the first two days of stay. The area is known for its specialty fishing, and it is also one of Michigan’s top water recreation areas with over 100 lakes in the county. The city sits on the Baldwin River only a few miles north of the historic Pere Marquette River. The cottage is nestled near lakes & rivers.

Within walking distance to two restaurants and a convenience store. Also if wanting to venture out, Manistee and Ludington are 32 miles away, Traverse city 60 miles.

This 2 bed 1 bath cabin has been renovated in a coastal theme. 2 Twin/1 Queen Bed in Bedrooms. The eat-in kitchen features new stainless appliances and pots and pans for your cooking needs. The kitchen opens to the living room overlooking Harper Lake. Flat Screen TV and Queen Sleeper Sofa available to sleep 2. Our personal 1940’s Cottage, direct private lake frontage on all sports Big Star Lake! 2 bedrooms on the main floor. Lower level has two twin beds. Large yard. Fire pit area complete with an endless amount of firewood on site for you to use. Kitchen is new and very well equipped. Linens and towels provided. Perched higher up, awesome panoramic view of the lake. Morning sun. Multi level decks and lots of steps and deck levels to beach. NO parties allowed.
