Downtown Melrose is in walking distance with three restaurants (one is the famous Blue Water Bay), public library, post office, grocery store, dollar store and Ace. Bring your boat and launch at the nearby boat ramp. Lake Santa Fe is a recreational lake with clean spring fed water for swimming, boating, skiing and fishing.

Little Love Shack

This house is TINY but it’s comfortable and fun. By tiny I mean it’s got a lot of 1950’s character squeezed into 690 square feet. The “official” dining table is outside on the patio so if you’re more than 2 people you should plan on spending quality time outside or out and about in Gainesville because the living space is limited. This is a GREAT rental for people who want to explore Gainesville, like being in the heart of 6th Street and prefer old school homes. No cable at this rental.

Our small, clean, cozy, guest suite (about 220 sq ft) is located in our fenced backyard. It is detached from our house with a private entrance, in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. It isn't fancy, but it's a good space for spending a few days while visiting Jax. We offer keyless check-in and free parking is in our driveway. A queen Sealy Posturepedic bed provides ultimate comfort. The suite has a mini-fridge and microwave for simple meals (no full kitchen).

Keystone Direct Lake Front Cottage 2BR

This is a well appointed 2 bedroom 1 bath older lake front cottage with a full eat in kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area, screened porch and multiple decks. There is internet and a smart tv. Washer and dryer are in the unfinished shed attached to the carport. No parking of vehicles, etc. in carport as it is at an incline and can have wash out areas. The small bathroom is located off of the queen bedroom with access only through the bedroom.
