The Little Yurt

Enjoy this lovely glamping opportunity, a yurt with a twist, 12 foot yurt bedroom, with sunken bath, kitchen and composting toilet extension. This is a glamping environment. So enjoy waking to birdsong, and don't be surprised if a bug or two show up! Enjoy the gorgeous Upper Lough Erne, use our two person kayak to explore from the water, or enjoy local walks, a trip to the Hare Krishna Island, by ferry, or go for a swim on our beach. Sit by the fire at night in the yurt using the wood stove.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature located on The Wicklow Way Walk in breathtaking scenery. Each yurt has a double and 2 single beds. There are 4 yurts, a log cabin and a Shepherds Hut all set on this beautiful Georgian House and Farm. The camping kitchen is set up with an oven, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge, wood stove, pool room, microwave and extra hot water bottles for your comfort. Chestnut - Yurt

The large deck to the rear of the yurt is a nice private veranda with a large picnic table for your own private BBQ with beautiful views of Oldtown field next door, where you may spot hares leaping, pheasants hiding in the long grass as well as the odd cow grazing.

The Lawn Yurt

Welcome to The Old Forge Glamping. We have three yurts, a safari tent, a log cabin and a Shepherds Hut. The Lawn Yurt looks out over the beautiful view of the Wicklow Mountains. Our yurts come with linen supplied, access to a communal kitchen, a private campfire and bbq area. Each yurt has a double and 2 single beds.. The scenery is spectacular and it is a famous area for hill walking as it is located on the Wicklow Way walk.
