The home is located near Amish attractions, Intercourse, Bird in Hand, Strasburg all within a few minutes drive. 20 minutes to Downtown Lancaster. This one floor living layout, is ideal for anyone traveling through for an over night stay or need a quaint, quiet space for several months. The fire pit, open backyard, and large family room, with electric fireplace, make it very comfortable for a stay-in relaxing evening. We are located less than 12 miles from popular destinations such as Sight & Sound, Dutch Wonderland, Fulton Opera House, Downtown Lancaster, Tanger Outlets, Spooky Nook, the town of Lititz, the town of Intercourse, etc.

The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

It was recently renovated and feels like a brand new home. It is a townhouse/duplex but feels very private and has it's own backyard&patio area with a privacy fence. The neighbors next door are friendly and you'll hardly notice they are there...

This cheery and simple guest suite is part of an Amish family's home in the heart of Lancaster county. You will have your own private driveway, a private entrance and your very own patio to relax on. With no TV, it's the perfect place to unplug in for a weekend in Lancaster and experience a taste of the Amish life (except with electricity!). We do also have Wi-Fi now!
