We are on Capitol Hill, a short walk to the US Capitol, Supreme Court, Library of Congress and the National Mall with its iconic memorials, Smithsonian Museums and National Gallery of Art. Half a block away is Eastern Market, an historic indoor food market open 6 days a week. On the weekends it expands with outdoor farm stands and vendors selling crafts and other goods. Within blocks are many restaurants, shops and the Metro. On street parking is free, a two night stay is minimum. Thank you!

The neighborhood is quiet, but near farm markets, supermarkets, drug stores, restaurants and an excellent bagel bakery! We love walking here, and checking out the "little libraries" My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with a couple of small kids.
