Located off US-460, only 6 miles to LU, 3 miles to downtown, and a short drive to local hospitals, shopping, dining and nature trails. Nestled off a quiet street, the large back deck overlooks a serene wooded yard, perfect for outdoor meals and morning coffee. Inside, you’ll find a welcoming living space, a fully equipped kitchen, and soft, luxurious sateen sheets and room darkening curtains- the perfect sleep.

The Guest House

WE DO NOT HAVE CABLE TV. UP A FLIGHT of STAIRS is a spacious apartment next to The Historic Masonic Theatre in the center of town. The building is built above Smith Creek and the comforting sound will lull you to sleep. The mattresses are comfy pillow tops and we have plenty of seating. You will be within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. Unfortunately this listing is not handicapped accessible due to the stairs and if you have any allergies be aware we allow guests to have dogs.

Relax in our private 1000 sqft apartment backed up to beautiful woods and stream. Sit outside and take in the sounds of nature and stream. While you are apart from the hustle and bustle of the city, know you are only minutes from Liberty University, Randolph and Lynchburg College, Centra Health, Amtrack, airport and downtown Lynchburg. Our two bedroom apartment offers a full bath, partial kitchen, dining and living room areas. Our hospitality includes communication, conversation and privacy.

Our small family farm is conveniently located 10 minutes from Interstates 81/64 and historic Lexington, Virginia. The Tipi has amazing views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and all the wonders our little farm and community has to offers. We are convenient to many local attractions like hiking, swimming, brewery and vineyard tours and yet secluded enough to heal your stress, enjoy time with your family or simply a special time away from the grind. Enjoy the sunrise over a horse pasture, the sounds of nature, and the brightest stars in Virginia. Our Non-Functioning Family Farm is on the side of a mountain with fresh spring water. On the grounds you have a Hot Tub, Barn, Private Gym, Playground, Fire-pit, Hammock, Acres to Roam, Multiple Decks, etc. A quick ~10 minute walk to the Falling Rock Bridge on the Tye River for fishing, kayaking, tubing, or looking for Otters! Nelson lake has a boat ramp and public fishing just 5 miles away.

Secluded cabin close to VMI, W&L, and Lexington.

Our cabin was originally a grainery. We moved it to sit on a wooded knoll on our working sheep farm. Mornings can be spent relaxing on our front porch while watching lambs play. We offer a firepit and outdoor furniture to better enjoy the peaceful seclusion of our slice of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests are just 10 minutes to downtown Lexington, Virginia Military Institute, Washington & Lee University, Southern Virginia University & the Virginia Horse Center. The owner is a VMI alumnus.
