Yet we are on a fully cleared, quiet acreage block which boasts beautiful gardens and a dam which is a haven for all birdlife including our pet geese - a bird watchers paradise. As our guests you are invited to stroll through our extensive gardens and if you wish sit around a large firepit with wood supplied from our property.

Our club is close, and pubs, clubs and restaurants on nearby islands. Enjoy the sea (including kayaks) from our lawn at high tide, bicycles, and a spa-pool on request. The suite includes a queen bed (only), sea views, a kitchen, bathroom and an outside patio overlooking the bay. There is aircon. No cleaning fee.

Main Beach is just a short 2 minute stroll from the Hideaway. This 17 km long, white sandy beach is patrolled and great for surfing, fishing, swimming or a beach walk. This is a very recently renovated and self contained studio unit. We live upstairs in the main house, but your area is very private. Your entrance, bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom, deck and all amenities are for your use only during your stay. All linen, towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner is provided.

Brisbane city, South Bank Parkland, QPAC, Museum and West End are all within walking distance. My guests also have access to award winning recreational area including heated spa, gym, BBQ and a gorgeous pool. Relax the day sunbathing by the pool or spend it exploring the endless attractions surrounding you. Here you can enjoy South Brisbane at its best!
