Stylishly Refurbished Heritage House (Muda Blue)

Originally built in the early 1900's, the house was dilapidated and not fit for habitation. It was out of passion to restore the building that Muda Blue came about. As the house is protected by the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscription, its structure and facade had to be maintained, which we were happy to do. Restored with love, it features scraped walls where you can still see hints of the original blue paint ( colour once common in the homes of old Malacca), wooden beams and original staircases. We also designed an open-air bath, a quirky yet memorable touch that invites guests to slow down and soak in the moment.

Furnished mainly with old wooden furniture and local decorations, it offers a taste of coastal village living with basic modern comforts. There’s no wifi, TV or air-cond. Strictly for private (non commercial) use only by max 6 (+2 y.o) people.

Hundred Year Old Heritage Shophouse (Loft)

Your “entire area” is the top floor of a 3-story shophouse in the heart of Georgetown. Meticulously renovated from an existing birdhouse to its former glory. All renovation was carried out using recycled hard wood and red bricks. The electrical work and water piping are all exposed.
