In one direction lies the picturesque Jordan River Valley comprised of 22,000 acres and over 17 miles of an easily explorable trail system. In the other direction is the bustling city of Gaylord that holds all the convenience of city life just a short trek to the east. The stunning destinations of Traverse City, Petoskey, and Torch Lake, are also a stones throw away or you can simply choose to sit by campfire light or walk in the 20 acres of woods sitting just outside the backdoor. Nestled firmly in the snow belt, when the leaves are gone and the white stuff starts hitting the ground you will find yourself in the literal definition of a snowmobilers paradise.

Newly built cabin located Near the Blue Bear ATV and Snowmobile trail. The cabin is cozy and spacious, it has central AC with a large living room and Kitchen area. It has a large covered porch and firepit! There is plenty of room on the property to park your boat trailer ATVs or Snowmobiles. It's across the street from Big Twin Lake which has public access. It is located in the heart of the "Lake Michigan Snowbelt" if there is snow in the Lower peninsula it's usually here.

Shorts Brewery, and their famous craft beer, is a fifteen minute drive to downtown Bellaire. Traverse City and Petoskey are just forty-five minutes away. Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
