Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Hayward Haus, Modern Design w/ Classic Experience

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind This cabin was built in 2021 and host is 13 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however exceptions can be made with permission and a fee. Inquire with host. NEMA 15-40R outlet provided for level 2 EV charging. You bring chord and adapter.

Your space is a self-contained apartment on the lower level of our 2.5 story home. Enjoy our trails on 60 acres, a 5 min walk to the river, or drive to local lakes, the Brule River, or Lake Superior. Within walking distance is the Poplar Golf Course and Bar/Grill. At the end of the day, you can relax around a fire under the starry sky. If it is chilly outside enjoy the fireplace and some games, books, or movies!

Modern-rustic, Aframe on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, glass stove top, air-fryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King bed in loft and NEW king gel memory foam bed on main floor. Smart TV, wi-fi. Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly as the main heat source. All wood is provided for woodstove and firepit. There is a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Riverfront Cabin on the Brule · Boxcar Hole

There's a bend in the Brule River called Boxcar Hole — a designated Wisconsin DNR fish refuge where fish congregate in protected waters. Locals know it. Fly fishers dream about it. And this cabin sits right on it — log walls, wood stove crackling, knotty pine everywhere. The Brule is Wisconsin's most famous trout river, and you'll have direct access from the backyard. Storage containers converted into a Nordic sauna and living space. Set in the woods half a mile from the sandy south shore of LAKE SUPERIOR. Our two-person occupancy and minimal design are curated to re-focus and re-fresh its inhabitants. Located on 80 acres of private land, you will fall in love with the peace and quiet. Whether you’re looking for a romantic couples getaway, spa weekend, or workspace as a digital nomad, Sölveig Stay was designed to spark creativity and relaxation.

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

Private Cozy Cabin on the Knife River

Retreat to this secluded cabin, resting on a hill along the Knife River nestled in 15 acres. You'll be met with a spacious, yet cozy environment with a bedroom and a separate loft area. The cabin features a sauna, a beautiful stone shower, two bathrooms and a tub. The south side of the land runs along the knife river with an overlook, perfect for the sunrise. The land is yours to explore. We have fallen in love with this space, and we truly hope you do too.

Berrywood Acres is located on the eastern shores of Lake Nebagamon. We are known for beautiful sunsets with quiet surroundings and located minutes from the famous Brule River, great hiking trails nearby and a 35 minute drive from Duluth/Superior or a bit further east to the Bayfield/Ashland area.
