Our place is great for folks who love the outdoors, music, small town charm. We are around the corner from a famous mountain bike trail. A 15-25 minute walk takes you from one end of our town to the other and includes an organic ice cream shop, a deluxe health food store, fab live music, brew pubs. Fairfax is a fun destination with boutiques, drop-in yoga, eclectic restaurants, and hundreds of cyclists touring through. Lots of hiking trails, too! Be aware: 10% hotel tax, 😞 Max stay: 6 days

Open to nightly rentals! Close to The Golden Gate Bridge and Muir Woods in magical Mill Valley. 400 sq ft + large deck of a well- appointed apmt in Tam Valley and with stunning view. Includes bedroom (king) with french doors, living room with pullout couch, a covered deck, and cooking area (see notes). Unwind when you arrive with a good book from our library and relax on the deck overlooking the many rolling hills of our breathtaking and wild neighborhood. :)

A separate gated pathway leads to the private deck with space to relax or dine while listening to songbirds.

Get cozy with a restorative retreat in nature and make yourself at home after a scenic hike or day at the beach. Fairfax Getaway in the Redwoods

This lovely little private studio is located on the lower level of our 3-story home in a magical redwood grove in Fairfax, California. The unit has a cozy Murphy bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, and bathroom with a large shower. Enjoy a private outdoor deck and patio surrounded by redwoods. There are two sweet cats on the premises. They don’t hang out in the unit but they love to visit guests and may occasionally enter the unit.

A Tiny Escape Near San Francisco & Wine Country

A cozy one-bedroom apartment at a fantastic location for nature lovers. A place perfect in-between San Francisco (20 min drive), Stinson Beach (15 min drive), Mt. Tamalpais hiking trails (just walk out the door) and close to all Marin County, the SF Bay Area, and whatever wine country has to offer.
