Outdoor grill and fire pit is available. Linens, dishes, pots and pans, washer, dryer, microwave, coffee maker and crock pot provided. Quiet, small community. Local restaurant and bar within walking distance. Summer Rental: Included in rental are four kayaks with lifejackets, grill, firepit, dock, and beautiful sunsets! Area trails are suitable for hiking, biking, four wheeling. Winter Rental: area trails suitable for snowmobiles, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Plenty of parking!

Da Knob on Lake Independence

Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

It is just a short walk up the beautiful, wooded path to your own Lake Superior Beach! In the Winter, snowmobilers will find trail 417 a stone throw away. Beautiful, cozy in all seasons, two bedrooms, spacious kitchen, and comfortable living space. This place has everything you need for a quiet getaway on the magnificent shores of Lake Superior.

Great for swimming (sand bottom) and fishing. Two kayaks available with life jackets and beach towels. Large groups of MORE than 6 people (total) on property are prohibited.
