Our tranquil, rural Gladstone cottage has gorgeous views of farmland and native bush from the sunny verandah. Enjoy the a wine from our nearby local vineyards and a BBQ outside in Summer and the warmth of a logfire inside during Winter. A 3 minute drive to the Gladstone Inn for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and 20 mins to either Masterton, Greytown or Martinborough. We also have a 6 hole golf course available (seasonally) onsite for our guests to enjoy, golf clubs for hire for a round or two.

The Greenkeeper's Cottage, Carterton area

The cottage is built for a couple to enjoy peace and relaxing comfort in the countryside. Play a little golf - putting green at your door; wander our rambling gardens and rolling countryside. Say hello to the friendly chickens, horses and sheep. A delightful retreat with full kitchen to create your gourmet feasts. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

It has two bedrooms with queen beds, a kitchen/dining space and bathroom with high pressure shower.

Enjoy a stay on our Martinborough vineyard. The cottage is nestled amongst the vines and offers a peaceful retreat from the city. We are 8 kilometres from the centre of Martinborough heading south on the way to Lake Ferry. You can enjoy a leisurely wine tasting at our cellar door with David who is always happy to talk wine. We will also transport you to Martinborough so that you can spend the day investigating local wineries or dine at one of the town's fine restaurants.
