Perfect for river or shallow water fishing, kayaking and bird watching. Less than a mile to intracostal canal and public boat ramp. Many native and migratory birds can be seen throughout the year and with the San Bernard Wildlife Refuge hosting their annual Migration Celebration it's perfect for bird watchers of all ages.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Located in the Matagorda Townsite. Waking distance to all the shops, restaurants and bars. Tons of room outside for cooking, playing or just hanging out with friends and family. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and boats. We are pet friendly and they have plenty of room to roam with this fenced in yard. The house is located less than a mile to beach road and all the public boat launches.

The Mulberry House is centrally located townsite Matagorda, just a minute drive to the harbor, local shopping, small grocery store, excellent fishing and great food. This is a simple cottage that provides a full kitchen, washer and dryer and lots of sleeping area. We have most everything you could need for an at-home feel on your vacation. (Pets may be welcomed on a case-by-case basis. Please note there is a $50 per pet fee.) Come play with us in Matagorda!
