Wainui River Glamping

A cute private glamping set-up nestled in the trees alongside the Wainui River. Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome. The Bach

Keep it simple at this peaceful, spacious and centrally located place. In the heart of Athenree - you will be walking distance for swimming, fishing, kayaking/boating, biking, tennis, hot pools + playgrounds. Please note that kayaking in the Athenree Estuary is tidal. Being slightly elevated, you can enjoy sea/water peeps on x3 sides of the Bach. Only 5 minutes drive to Waihi Beach / Bowentown or you can walk across the estuary at low tide too. 10 minutes drive to Waihi & Katikati.

On the Te Awa river ride and within easy reach of Sanctuary (Maungatautari) mountain walks our home is ideally located for water enthusiasts, cyclists, walkers, runners and trampers. Situated elevated above zone 5 on Lake Karapiro and overlooking the 500m-1000m mark for rowing this is an ideal spot to view all the lake events on offer - be it Rowing, Waka Ama, Hydroplanes, Cycling with the Avantidrome just 15 minutes drive away!

Nestled in our native bush gully and overlooking the spring-fed ponds, this is the perfect space to relax. Large queen bedroom, kitchenette, dining area and lounge with double sofa bed, plus portable single folding bed. Sheltered balcony with barbeque overlooking the garden and lakes. Lots of parking and secure storage available.

Estuary Escape

Quiet, spacious, and relaxing, a real escape! Newly refurbished cottage close to Athenree Estuary. Go for a stroll around the Estuary walk, cross the Estuary at low tide to the wave beach, swim, paddle board, or Kayak at high tide, or soak up the sun on the spacious deck. Only a 2-minute walk from the Athenree hot pools and a 5-minute drive from Waihi Beach. Waihi and Katikati are approximately 15 minutes drive away.
