Lower Hartshay is a hidden gem, a tiny rural village in Derbyshire. The cottage is along a former tow path behind a picket fence. Inside it boasts a quirky layout with log burner,beams and a stone stairwell to the large kitchen. Enjoy the paddock to the front and seating terrace to the rear looking over the brook.

Relax in this peaceful unique country home, either warm yourself by the wood burner or relax out in the garden, taking in the beautiful surroundings of the private Middleton Hall estate. The Coach House has been refurbished , with designer furniture, wall paper, hand painted murals on the walls, marble shower room, hypnos beds and an American fridge freezer. Spend some time away in this modern, countryside bungalow. Ideal for families or small groups of friends! Close to both Burton Town Centre (15 minute drive) and Lichfield City Centre (20-25 minute drive). Perfect for festivals and events held at Catton Hall (only a 10 minute walk away) Owners live in the adjacent property and own a large but very friendly dog (who is kept in his own fenced-off area). The garden is a shared area between the bungalow and the owners.

Chert Cottage, Great Longstone, Bakewell Peak Dist

Chert Cottage is a delightful and private two bedroomed detached cottage in the centre of Great Longstone. The cottage sits off the road with its own drive, great gardens and private patio, along with ample private parking. Well behaved pets are welcome. All of this in the wonderfully picturesque Peak District village of Great Longstone, just minutes from the Monsal trail and Chatsworth House. Bakewell is also close by, along with lots of walking opportunities.
