The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. For the best sleep, open the bedroom window!

T's Place

The space is a recently renovated basement studio with a private entrance. There is a parking place for you and a lighted path to the left that leads down to the studio. The studio has a queen bed, a bathroom with tub and shower and a dressing room area that some use for an office. The kitchen has most anything you will need. We live upstairs, so you will hear footsteps and kitchen activity. The yard is huge and fenced- in, perfect for pets. The walk to Lane Stadium is only 15 minutes!

Owner's residence on site gives you the peace of mind of that you will have everything you need during your stay.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Hokie Homestead less then 6 miles to VA TECH

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful country cabin situated on our six-and-a-half acre partial homestead on a quiet lane. Meet our mini donkeys Hokie and Pokie, mini pigs, and other animal friends. Enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens and seasonal vegetables as available! This getaway is a perfect home base for Virginia Tech games and events, nearby vineyards, breweries, the Appalachian Trail, and the New River. Mountain and horse-ranch views.

Cozy Riverfront House - 15 minutes from VT

BRAND NEW INTERIOR. This fully renovated and updated riverfront home is perfect for a family get away/girl's weekend/guy's fishing trip! There are two bedrooms- one queen bed, a full and a twin. The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.
