Edward Hicks Suite

The Edward Hicks Suite is a beautifully appointed room that offers a king-sized bed and fireplace. It is commonly considered our most attractive room. Breakfast is served in an adjoining room and the second story window overlooks downtown Newtown. A roll-away bed is available for this room, with a fee. All rooms booked at The Temperance House must be charged occupancy and state taxes, not included in the price.

[Update: we are just restarting this listing after renting to a tenant. Some things are still being set up as a result.] Stay in a rustic Civil War-era farmhouse on 2+ acres one mile from Princeton University campus and downtown Princeton. Feel at home with our extra comfy beds, fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, large garden, bikes and nature trails.

I am offering a private room with a queen size bed, a desk & chair on the second floor with its own bathroom. Morning coffee or tea and a baked good is provided. We live in a wooded setting, five minutes by car from downtown Princeton. Please note that I am a quilter and by 9:30AM you may hear me sewing away!!
