The Heron Room on Bass Harbor

The Heron Room is named for the Great Blue Herons that visit our shore. Located on the second floor of our Boat House Cottage, it overlooks Bass Harbor facing the sunset. A workspace with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker with seating, task lighting, and wifi is provided. Watch the tide change from the deck and the lobster boats heading out at first light. Bring your binoculars — the birding is wonderful — and your water shoes for brisk wading at high tide. This room accommodates two persons.

Freedom House Cottage Room #3

This is a quiet and quaint private room with a queen size bed and ensuite bathroom in our Cottage Building. A mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, WiFi, and cable TV are provided in the room for your comfort. Our entire facility is SMOKE FREE! We are located in downtown Dover-Foxcroft within walking distance to shops, cinema, restaurants, bank, post office & drug store. A full breakfast is available for an added charge of 20.00/person, but must be requested at least 24 hrs prior to arrival.

The Elms - River Room

The Elms is conveniently in Westbrook, with easy access to Portland and the Interstate. The River Room has one queen bed, private bathroom with tub, a desk, large closet, and a view of the Presumscot. This is the most desirable room in the Elms. Historic Building, built by a renowned architect, originally served as a luxury Maine resort to entice business to the local mill. Featuring splendid carved wood features, fireplaces, spacious rooms, and a screened veranda overlooking the river.

Charming two-room second-floor suite with exposed beams and views of the iconic Old South Church. The space consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a separate sitting area with a sofa that converts into a bed. Also includes a shared newly tiled shower, heated bidet toilet seat, and coffee station with fridge, microwave, tea, and coffee. Walk to downtown restaurants and pubs, with the river and rail trail just one block away. Free bicycles and kayaks available for multi-night stays.

This expansive 1,400-square-foot residence offers a luxurious blend of comfort and style.
