Stay amongst the Scottish hills and lochs in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Our private, no pets, one bedroom bothy is a cosy haven settled in Balquhidder Glen. Enjoy the wildlife as Deer, Red Squirrel, Pheasants and wild Rabbits will be your neighbours. Climb the many mountains in the area, some within walking distance of our front door or explore the local walks. Visit the grave of Rob Roy MacGregor or curl up infront of our woodburning stove with some hot cocoa and a good book.

On two levels it comprises a lounge & kitchenette with open fire on the ground floor and a massive, kingsize bedroom with ensuite bathroom upstairs, all tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. Attached to the main cottage, it is totally self-contained, with access to the garden and dedicated large patio for guests. The accommodation is pet friendly with amazing views.

The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Unique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. Extremely warm and cosy hut with double glazing and log burning stove. Situated in the heart of a forest, on a hill with views down to Loch Voil. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, writers, artists....anyone looking for peace and quiet and instant access to the great outdoors. To reach the cabin you will need to drive for 3 miles on a forestry track. It is rough and has plenty of potholes so is not for the unadventurous or for those with low slung sports cars. A 4x4 is not necessary.

Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains.
