This Guest house is a Fantastic Place to rest and relax. Set on 10 beautiful acres overlooking pastures with Cows, Horses, and Chickens. We have an isolated feel but are just minutes from Hwy 11 and Interstate 20. The guest house has its own private deck with fantastic pastoral views. There is also a shared porch that has an outdoor fireplace, perfect for enjoying some fresh air on cool nights. The main room has a King size bed. When you step into our little forest sanctuary it is easy to forget that you are only 10 min from downtown Atlanta. Nestled in the forest, across a bridge over a creek, is a beautiful little modern treehouse that sleeps 4 people. There is a composting toilet and a small kitchenette with running water. Across the bridge are a private outdoor shower with hot/cold water and a heater for amazing winter showers, next to it is a heated bath house all for your use only. Strictly no parties or movies

Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

It is approximately a 30 minute drive to the University of Georgia campus for all the Dawgs fans!
