We feel that the best way to describe our getaway to be “Rustic Elegance”. When you walk through the door you will instantly feel the warmth of a uniquely styled Adirondack cottage. Located nearby to the Acadia Highway (aka Route 1), we are close by to historic Fort Knox, Castine, and Acadia. Enjoy our attached “Greenhouse” which has been made over into a delightful screenhouse/patio, the country setting, blueberry fields, and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Fire pit, horseshoes, more!!!

Conveniently located 20 minutes from both Bangor and Belfast and 75+/- mins from Acadia National Park. After a day of adventuring on or off the property, unwind around the fire pit or on your deck. This property has woodland trails that cover 200+ acres that includes a pristine farm pond. Couples who love cooking will relish the appointed kitchen

Outdoor fields for games, grilling, access to Maine wildlife, with plenty of parking. Private master bedroom w/bath. Large community areas to enjoy time with friends and family. At night spend time by the campfire and take in the stunning night sky. Party and events are not allowed at this time due to COVID-19 policies.

Welcome to our new building. "A Room With a Brew" is located above Belfast's newest craft brewery, Frosty Bottom Brewing. A small community supported brewery open 2 days/week for 3-4 hours for beer share members. Guests can request a tour of the brewery and sample some fresh beer. Owners live in downtown Belfast and are available should any issues arise during your stay. The apartment/brewery is located 3 miles from downtown on a quiet road that offers local hiking and biking.

SNOW SWEET, A Yurt for All Seasons

Snow Sweet at The Appleton Retreat is very private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt faces the Field of Dreams and has a nice view of Appleton Ridge. It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

Enjoy our cozy home-away-from-home amid towering pines and granite boulders — the perfect respite after exploring Acadia. Our newly built cabin has rustic Maine charm and modern comforts: AC, waterfall shower, memory foam mattresses, indoor gas fireplace, outdoor gas fire pit, gas grill, hot tub, 4KTV, high-speed internet, modern kitchen, filtered water, gas range, high-end appliances, and front-loading washer/dryer.

Cedar Swamp Farm

A 2 bedroom house with a porch and gazebo in the back yard in a rural setting located on gravel road. Overlooking lovely horse pastures and deer often come to visit. 35 additional wooded acres to explore. There are unorganized trails that abut “Dead Brook“ available to walk. “Majic”, “Wally” and “Boots” are your neighbors and love to say hello and get a pat.
