Relax in this peaceful country setting. A nice secluded country setting apart from the fast pace. Approx. 2 minutes west of Oden. Central location between Mena and Mount Ida. Nice big yard, grill and swing. Plenty of room for parking. Places nearby, Big T’s country store, Shirley Creek, Ouachita River, Lake Ouachita, River view cabins, Horseback riding, canoe rental, kayaking. Serendipity Trail, Lake Ouachita, Wagner's crystal mine, Wolf Pen Gap, Shady, Iron Mountain, Queen Willamena.

You may be coming for the rivers, lake, trails, or mines but you might just end up lounging in the spacious backyard. Almost 2 acres of the property is level and clear with lots a space for horseshoes, baggo, badminton or even a some tag football. Another acre slopes down to the bullfrog pond where you can practice your casting skills or just relax and listen to the birds and bullfrogs. Maybe you would prefer chillin' by the firepit or under one of the many shade trees.

Cool Ridge Little House

Relax in this simple, open floor plan little house with an amazing view of the Ouachita river and mountains. 2 bedrooms, one bath, living area, and great outdoor patio over looking the river. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, fresh linens, and bath items. Can sleep 7, although it's most comfortable for a family of 4. There will be an extra fee per person. The cleaning for 6-7 people is $50, even for a short-term stay. pets are allowed for a $10 per trip, PER PET fee.

The Farm in Story

Country getaway with a spectacular view. Great for relaxing, catching a few fish, and enjoying the quiet. The space is a mobile home with add-on that includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Located 2 miles from beautiful Lake Ouachita and 17 miles from the incomparable Camp Ozark. In the surrounding area we have a beautiful river for floating/kayaking and trails for hiking and horse back riding.
