Our location is accessible via ATV trail systems from Antigonish, Guysborough, and Pictou counties. Five minute drive to beautiful Port Hilford beach and 25 mins to Port Bickerton Lighthouse. 45 mins to Antigonish. The cabin is cozy and offers all the essentials for your relaxed visit 😊.

Authentic log home is available year around. As the crow flies it is less than 500m from the Atlantic coast. The house is set in a meadow surrounded by trees with a fantastic view over Hayden Lake. Lots of space and privacy. Smell the fresh forest air. Relax or take a walk. Enjoy the nature. The water toys invite you. Jump in to swim. Watch the incredible starry sky and feel comfortable in the cozy Mainhaus. Good beds, heating, a sauna, the open woodstove in the Sunroom make it comfortable.

This 3bed, 2bath home sleeps 6 & is the perfect place to relax, entertain & explore. Rocky beaches, kayaking, riding your bike or watching the time go by. Sit around our custom fire pit & count the stars if you dare to try. Ride the bikes down to the water & pick sea glass. Wine Harbour is now the home to the Whale Sanctuary Project! Ah yes, life is truly good.

Oak and Aspen Cabin

Nestled among the oak trees, at the top of a riverbank, you'll find a beautiful handmade dovetail log cabin overlooking the East River. Come explore the 25 acre wooded property in Riverton with hundreds of feet of river front. The river offers wonderful swimming and fishing opportunities with three great salmon holes within a 5 minute walk from the cabin. The cabin is a work of art and has all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. It is a 5 minute hike to access the cabin.

Explore the village of Tatamagouche and near by attractions including Fox Harb'r, Brule Point and Northumberland Links Golf courses, Jost Vineyards, Tatamagouche Brewing and Ski Wentworth along with tons of hiking trails.

In sum: Rivers, waterfalls, woods trails, easy highway access, wi-fi, spectacular sky and ocean views. Day trips are easy as we are midway between Cape Breton and Antigonish. Stay on site to enjoy breathtaking views of the St. George's Bay, expansive night skies or walk in the fields, along the logging roads or make the 2km hike to the waterfalls. Taylor's Field has become a haven for nature lovers. Some relax in our cabin and others prefer to tent at one of our quiet tent sites.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.

Black Duck Run Cottage

Unwind on the deck of this stunning waterside cottage and gaze at the majestic views, flocks of ducks swimming and the soaring eagles fishing the river. Black Duck Run Cottage is a relaxing getaway located on the banks of the world famous St. Mary's River in the community of Sonora, minutes from the historic village of Sherbrooke. Whether its fishing, kayaking, walks on the beach, sitting by a campfire or relaxing indoors this piece of paradise will not disappoint.
