MtDome - your private midnight sun escape

Very private and cozy dome in a rare location. If you truly want to meet the Icelandic nature and weather, then this is the place for you. It has a fireplace, panorama sauna and not a person in sight. A superb place to see the northern lights or enjoy the midnight sun. You have to work for your reward by walking for about 10 minutes to the dome from the parking at the farm. Its a good place is you want to get off the beaten track and still be close to the main attractions like the golden circle.

Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Pálína Cottage Studio

Pálína Cottage Studio is a new accommodation in the Golden Circle, well locate. There are two apartments in the house, each 20m2. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is private. In winter you can see the northern lights. It is close to all the main natural gems of South Iceland: Þingvellir, Skálholt, Gullfoss, Geysir and many more Children, infants and toddlers are not allowed. We want our guests to have peace and quiet and to be able to enjoy their time in a peaceful environment.

Come for a stay at a farm in the South-west part of Iceland. Enjoy the nature on a conventional Icelandic farm. During winter you might see the northern lights and experience the constant day during summer. Dairy cows, sheep and horses roam around on the farm in the summer but stay inside during winter. Additionally, a total of 4 dogs live, work and play on the farm. This is a working farm so don't be alarmed by tractors and all sorts of farm noise and smells.
