We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. The nearest airport is Egilsstaðir Airport, 8 km from the cabin location.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Þetta er stórt gamalt hús á tveimur hæðum og kjallara. Það er stór pallur með húsgögnum og gasgrilli. Svalir út frá setustofu með flottu útsýni yfir fjörðinn. Afgirtur garður með fullt af trjám og góðu leiksvæði. Leikvöllur er við hliðina á garðinum. Kaffisala er opin í Sólbrekku á sumrin frá 15 júní til 10 ágúst, þar er hægt að fá sér léttar veitingar.
