Sample the delicious local foods, grab a drink in a traditional pub, and enjoy shopping at independent boutiques. See James Fort and stroll along the river Bandon. Buses run hourly to Cork Airport and Cork City, about a 35 minute trip. There is also local taxi service. Parking: There is a large car park across the street from the house. Generally, street parking is available, but it is scarce during Sunday Mass times, or if there is a wedding, as the house is next to the parish church.

The bustling main streets of Killarney are just 300 metres away but the house is in a quiet area in spite of central location, however Tuesday and Wednesday morning can get a little noisy with deliveries.
