'Cwtyn' - a Cute Country Cottage

Cwtyn is a detached,stone built former swill house,used to prepare pig feed in the 19th century. It has been converted into a cosy self-catering cottage whilst retaining the original stone fireplace and slate hearth. It is now an open-plan space,compact and practical, with bathroom, kitchen, log burner,TV and Wi-Fi. Outdoors there is an enclosed space,slate patio,seating,fantastic views and private parking. Rural,peaceful and unique - a great base for exploring Snowdonia,Anglesey and Lleyn.

We’re close to Caernarfon, Criccieth, Porthmadog, with lots of walks, cycling & beautiful surrounding Coastal areas, only minutes away.. So Come, Relax and Enjoy!

Gwenlli Shepherds Hut

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Enjoy a (very) private, riverside break surrounded by birdsong and ancient oakwoods. Located on a biodiverse, working farm in Eryri National Park, our well equipped, comfortable Shepherdess Hut sits alongside Afon Nanmor (River), with the bathroom a two minute walk away. 10 minutes drive from Beddgelert, 15 minutes from the Watkin Path up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) or 20minutes from the beach. Look out for views of Cnicht, Yr Wyddfa, the kingfisher and the Osprey.

You’ll also find comfy seating – the ideal spot for a cup of tea .Simply yet effectively furnished, the space reinforces the sense that this is a sanctuary. A pet friendly hill walkers haven nestled in the hills on a section of 83 mile world heritage Snowdonia slate trail are found the Olive Grove Soul Sanctuary Caravan. Perfect for a family get away or a romantic retreat . The Medieval town of Caernarfon with its majestic castles are within a 10 mile reach with the lakeside resort of llanbaris providing you direct access to the largest mountain in Wales which is Snowdonia being 15 miles away .

Walking distance to Snowdonia's popular seaside town Barmouth, very close to the beach and on the doorstep to some of the best walks in the area. Boasting an amazing elevated view of the cost and sunsets to die for. A hot tub sunk into the decking with views of the whole of Cardigan Bay. If you want to explore or see Snowdonia's coast, this is the place for you.
