This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. We are proud to be a 100-year-old traditional Kyoto machiya townhouse certified by Kyoto City. There are two toilets, one outside the room and one inside (an extension), and the bath is located outside the room, next to the corridor at the garden edge. This is an old Kyoto machiya townhouse that has not been renovated and remains in its original condition. There are three Japanese-style bedrooms and two living rooms, and a bedroom/living room on the first floor with a view of the garden.
