The small lake where you can enjoy swimming fishing and any other non motorized water activities is about a five min walk away.

Offering its guests privacy and seclusion with mountain views while still being nearby Bryson City, the NOC and fishing just a mile away in the Little Tennessee River. Heavy timber beams, full log siding are just some of the old thyme charm this cabin provides. With a large wraparound deck, indoor fireplace, hot tub and firepit for your enjoyment, not to mention the sleep number bed!

Enjoy the night sky and river at night by the fire pit and relax with a cool beverage by the river. If that is not enough excitement, how about a whitewater raft ride down the Nantahala River. A short walk to Paddle Inn for boats and stop off at your own private retreat for a half way break or just relax on the covered porch and watch the river pass by.

Walnut Grove Farmhouse, a renovated 1930s era home, is a remnant of an old farm. We are situated on 17 acres of rolling hills with handsome views from the upper pasture along with a stand of 14 walnut trees. Sit a spell on the porch, listen to the trickling brook (a roaring brook when we get significant rain), the sound of birds, the sounds at night and maybe some turkeys will venture through. We are located midway between Franklin and Dillsboro, Sylva, Cullowhee.

Inside, the great room boasts a stone fireplace, wall of windows, 55" TV, game table, full kitchen with 2 dishwashers, and spacious dining area.
