Kalgan Retreat -Pet Friendly holiday accommodation

The beautifully appointed 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Chalet is located on a semi-rural property, only 15 minutes from Albany CBD. With everything a family could need. We are a Pet Friendly retreat with plenty of room for your pets to run and play. A short walk through the property you will find the Kalgan River, where you can kayak with the family. We have plenty of kayaks for you to use free of charge. We have a few friendly farm animals including Nigerian Dwarf goats, horses and an alpaca.

Mountain Escape next to Porongurup National Park

Wake to birdsong, fresh mountain air and Bluff Knoll through the trees. The Mountain View Cottage is a peaceful family base beside the Porongurup National Park, where private access to the adjoining park and walking trails begins right from the front door. Spend your days roaming forest paths, spotting kangaroos & birdlife, swimming in the dam, playing under big skies or simply slowing down into the quiet. Then come home to mountain views, a warm fire and a cottage that feels easy to sink into.

River’s End Retreat

For couples wanting a romantic escape. Relax and unwind in this bespoke Tiny House overlooking the Kalgan River. Located on 30ac we are a small working farm. Sheep, alpacas and horses graze the paddocks and you may even get a visit from one of our pet kangaroos. From the deck you can listen to abundant bird life and fish rising in the river while enjoying a glass of local wine next to the fire. Close to walk trails, river and beaches come and explore all this amazing region has to offer.

Chesterfarm and Stables

Our property has been lovingly, restored, with a difference. We have one bedroom located off the front verandah and one bedroom accessible from the back entry and two bedrooms within the home, great for two families, giving people their own space. Surrounded by 74 acres, only 5 minutes from Albany CBD. There is a large farmhouse kitchen, beautifully furnished areas. On balmy nights you can huddle around a cosy fire pit under the stars roasting marshmallows and relaxing with a glass of wine

'Marri' in the Porongurup 1

A quiet place, on a bush block, on the edge of the National Park. The guest suite is part of our home & is suitable for singles & couples. The Granite Skywalk & other tracks, are not far away. There are local food outlets and winery's that are open on limited days. Mt Barker is 25 klm away and a good place for food and fuel. The Internet & Television is via Satillite. Telstra Mobile, has the best coverage. Bluff Knoll & Albany are both 40 klm away. We can provide milk on request.
