The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. The apartment has its own entrance accessed via stairs from the street. We call it "The Base" because it is perfect to use as a base for a short break in the city or further afield. Briefly, it comprises a lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and a bright and airy double bedroom.
