It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Mount is a newly refurbished stylish apartment that is part of No 10 Mount Pleasant, a former private girls finishing school. Mount Pleasant and The Mount building is over 200 years old. Situated in Kendal town centre (there's a two minute walk down the hill into town) the Mount is surrounded by local greens and parkland and to the west of the building boasts a beautiful golf course, fell and woodland for keen walkers. The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
