Local beaches are just a 10 minute walk away, with the historic seaside towns of Saltburn and Whitby, and North Moors National Park a short commute away. Sleeping two, The Guest Place is a homely and welcoming space, with a well equipped kitchenette, TV with streaming and Netflix, a patio area and off-road parking.

This design award winning detached property is surrounded by grounds which include a slope which may not be suitable for very young children. With stunning sea views, The Outlook is built into the hillside, access is via steps down from the road (or can be accessed via a steep path). Minutes from the Valley Gardens, on the beach path, close to the town centre; this is a beautiful spot. The Outlook sadly doesn’t lend itself well to those with mobility issues or very young children. Dog friendly.

Log Fire for Winter & Wonderful Views

Upon arrival enjoy a winter walk along the beach and then light the log fire at supper-time. The next morning, sip coffee and watch the winter sun as it rises over the sea. Wrap up warm in hats & scarves and ride the historic lift to the beach below. Enjoy a cosy lunch in a seafront café & browse the menus of restaurants to find the perfect place for your evening meal. Acorn Cottage is a quaint and cosy property, perfect for a couple seeking a tranquil retreat. Nestled in the heart of the historic market town of Guisborough, you will find a selection of shops, cafes, and traditional pubs just a short stroll away. This delightful cottage combines traditional rustic charm with modern comforts. It is the perfect base to explore scenic walking trails, including the famous Cleveland Way and North Yorkshire Coast, before unwinding by the log burning stove.

Hillfoot Cottage is a cosy and comfortable 350 yr old cottage which began life as a pig sty in the quiet country village of Yearby, near Redcar. Offering peace and tranquility with local walks on your doorstep. Located a short drive to the seaside town of Redcar and Market town of Guisborough, within 1/2 hours drive to the North York Moors National Park and Whitby and within 1 hours drive to the Yorkshire Dales. An abundance of wild birds are to be found in the gardens of our cottage.

The property is the ideal location for exploring North Yorkshire. 15 to 30 mins from the North Yorkshire Moors, Redcar and Saltburn beaches, Roseberry topping and Whitby. It’s ideal for family breaks, mini breaks and perfect for walkers. A free 2 hour high street parking disk is provided, plus free parking 6pm till 8am daily. Other times up to £4 a day.

Relax with the whole family at our delightful house just a short walk from miles of unspoilt beach. Beachcomber has been lovingly renovated to provide a comfortable and cozy home from home. There are two double bedrooms with king-size beds, a room with bunks and two single sofa-beds in a room that can be a bedroom but otherwise is a peaceful second living room. There are two bathrooms, both with stand-alone showers and one with a large sunken bath. There is also a toilet downstairs.
